Amahl Jersey City 2015

"Amahl and the Night Visitors" is an endearing and enduring children's opera by Gian Carlo Menotti. It is perhaps the most widely performed opera in the country, and this may well be the first time Amahl has been performed in Jersey City! Amahl is a beautifully crafted story about a boy with a special gift who is changed by 3 very special visitors. This unique production will feature professional singers and dancers from Kyrenia Opera Company accompanied by children from Mustard Seed and other New Jersey area schools.

The warm, intimate setting of historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church in urban, diverse Jersey City is the ideal place to nourish ourselves with the simple truths and timeless values found in the story of Amahl and the Night Visitors.
